This relay mounts directly onto a contactor (contactor mounting) and occupies a 45 mm wide footprint on the DIN rail. It carries ATEX approval (DMT 98 ATEX G 001) for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, and the surge voltage resistance is rated at 6 kV, giving it solid isolation coordination for industrial mains.
The 3RU1126-1CD0 is listed as current production. It is not subject to a last-time-buy notice.
Terminals & Wiring
Main current circuit uses screw-type terminals accepting 2x (0.5... 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (16... 12), 2x (14... 8) AWG. The auxiliary and control circuit uses cage clamp terminals accepting 2x (0.5... 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (20... 14) AWG, and 2x (0.5... 1.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrule. Auxiliary contact ratings: 1 A at 24 V, 3 A at 120 V, 2 A at 230 V, 1 A at 400 V. These are the thermal continuous currents for the signal contacts; the relay's own trip mechanism switches them.
Environmental & Mounting
Relative humidity during operation can reach 100 %. The relay withstands 8g shock for 10 ms. Mounting position allows a vertical mounting surface with +/-135° rotation and +/-45° tilt forward/back. Clearance requirements: 0 mm upward, forward, backward, and downward; 6 mm at the side. Power dissipation per pole is 1.9 W.
Substance prohibitance date is 07/01/2006, aligning with RoHS compliance. ATEX certification (DMT 98 ATEX G 001) is on record.
