It mounts directly onto a contactor, forming a compact motor starter assembly. The integrated auxiliary switch provides a remote trip signal, and the unit includes a mechanical trip indicator that shows a "Tripped" message when the overload has operated.
This overload relay is designed for direct contactor mounting — it snaps onto the bottom of a SIRIUS S00 contactor (e.g., 3RT6015 or 3RT6017 series) without additional wiring between the contactor and relay. The power terminals are screw-type, accepting 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded conductors. The screwdriver tip required is Pozidriv PZ2, shaft diameter 5 to 6 mm. The relay includes temperature compensation over -40 to +60 °C, so the trip characteristic stays accurate across the operating range of the enclosure.
The integrated auxiliary switch is rated for the following voltages and currents: 24 V at 2 A, 60 V at 0.3 A, 110 V at 0.22 A, 120 V at 3 A, 125 V at 0.22 A, 220 V at 0.11 A, 230 V at 2 A, and 400 V at 1 A. These ratings cover both AC and DC control circuits typically found in motor control centers.
