The main circuit uses spring-loaded terminals, so no screwdriver torque check on the power wires; the auxiliary circuit is left unwired (no auxiliary terminal block fitted). This is the mounting frame and terminal carrier for the thermal overload relay family (3RU21 / 3RB30 / 3RB31 / 3RR2) in Size S0, letting you install the relay separately from the contactor when panel layout or thermal separation demands it.
DIN-rail fit and wiring constraints
At 45 mm wide and 114 mm tall, it occupies one standard 45 mm module slot. The 76 mm depth is the key clearance dimension: verify that the gland plate or enclosure door clears this when the relay is mounted on a DIN rail close to the back wall. Wire entry accepts 1x solid conductor from 1 to 10 mm² (AWG 18 to 8) and 1x stranded from 1 to 10 mm²; finely stranded with ferrule runs 1 to 6 mm². That covers most motor-circuit power tails up to about 25 A.
Operating environment range
Rated for -20 to +70 °C during operation and -50 to +80 °C during storage. No derating curve is listed here, but the 70 °C operating ceiling is typical for SIRIUS overloads in panel-mounted applications.
