Part identity and setting range
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RU6116-0CB1 is a thermal overload relay for motor protection, covering the 0.18–0.25 A adjustable current range. It is a size S00 device designed for stand-alone installation. Main contacts accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) solid/stranded or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), with AWG equivalents 2x (20–16) and 2x (20–18) plus 2x 12. Auxiliary contacts accept 2x (20–16) and 2x (18–14) AWG. Tightening torque for main contacts is 0.8–1.2 N·m. Finely stranded with core end processing is also supported: 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²).
Environmental and mechanical withstand
Relative humidity during operation is 0–90 %. Shock resistance per IEC 60068-2-27 is 8g / 11 ms. Installation altitude maximum is 2 000 m above sea level.
