Motor protection relay for the S00 contactor frame

The 3RU6116-0EB1 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay sized for the S00 contactor frame. It protects a three-phase motor by monitoring current through the main circuit and tripping via a bimetallic thermal element when overload persists.

Mounting and wiring: stand-alone or direct to contactor

The relay supports stand-alone installation in any mounting position. Dimensions are 45 mm wide, 89 mm high, and 80 mm deep — it occupies a single modular DIN-space width. Side clearance to grounded parts must be at least 6 mm. Main circuit and auxiliary circuit connections use screw-type terminals. Auxiliary terminals accept 2× (20…16) or 2× (18…14) AWG. Tightening torque for main contacts is 0.8 to 1.2 N·m.
