The Siemens 3RU6116-0GB1 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay sized for motor protection in the 0.45–0.63 A range, Trip Class 10, size S00. It protects three-phase motors against overload and phase failure by sensing motor current through the main circuit and opening the auxiliary contact when the thermal model trips. Main circuit and auxiliary circuit both use screw-type terminals. Main terminals accept 2×(0.5–1.5 mm²) solid/stranded or 2×(0.75–2.5 mm²); auxiliary terminals accept 2×(20–16) AWG or 2×(18–14) AWG. Tightening torque for main contacts is 0.8–1.2 N·m.
