It protects a motor by monitoring current through the main circuit and tripping if overload persists — the adjustable release is set between 1.4 A and 2 A, which is the current range that governs fit for your motor's FLA.
This relay fastens directly onto a S00 contactor — no separate DIN-rail foot needed, which saves a slot in a crowded panel. Screw-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary circuits; the main circuit accepts 2× (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or 2× (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) stranded, with a tightening torque of 0.8 to 1.2 N·m. The auxiliary circuit takes 2× (20–16) or 2× (18–14) AWG.
Electrical ratings and environment
Rated operational voltage is 690 V AC at 50/60 Hz, with a surge voltage resistance of 6 kV and an insulation voltage of 690 V at pollution degree 3. The control circuit draws 2 A at 24 V, 0.22 A at 110 V, and 2 A at 230 V — these are the coil currents for the contactor it mounts on, not the overload trip itself. Operating temperature range is -40 to +70 °C, with 0 to 90 % relative humidity; storage range is -55 to +80 °C. Shock resistance is 8 g for 11 ms per IEC 60068-2-27, and installation altitude max is 2000 m without derating.
