The Siemens 3RU7116-0CB0 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay in frame size S00, designed for direct mounting on S00 contactors. It provides Class 10 motor protection with a rated operational current of 0.25 A at 690 V AC/DC, 50/60 Hz. The relay uses a bimetallic thermal release mechanism and is rated for 3-pole main circuits with screw-type terminals.
Class 10 trip means the relay must open within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — fast enough for standard motor start profiles on pumps, fans, and compressors where the start time stays under 10 seconds.
