SIRIUS S00 thermal overload relay — 1 A, Class 10
The Siemens 3RU7116-0JB0 is a SIRIUS thermal overload relay in the S00 frame size, rated for a 1 A operational current with Trip Class 10 protection. It mounts directly onto a S00 contactor (contactor mounting per), forming a compact motor starter package for a DIN-rail panel. The thermal bimetal design provides inverse-time overload protection for three-phase AC/DC motors up to 690 V at 50/60 Hz.
The 1 A rated operational current sets the motor FLA this relay protects — pair it with a contactor and motor sized at or below that full-load amp draw. The 690 V rated voltage covers 400 V and 480 V line supplies with headroom; the 50/60 Hz rating makes it line-frequency agnostic.
