It mounts directly onto a contactor of the same S00 frame, protecting three-phase motor circuits against overload and phase imbalance. The relay uses a thermal bimetallic release — no electronic settings, just a solid-state bimetal that tracks the motor's heating curve. IP20 on the front and terminals means it's safe for enclosed panel use; no washdown rating here, so keep it inside the cabinet.
Mounting is contactor-mount only — it clips onto the front of a S00 contactor (like the 3RT1016 series). No DIN-rail option; the relay rides the contactor. Screw terminals on both main and auxiliary circuits accept 2x 0.5–2.5 mm² solid or stranded, torqued to 0.8–1.2 N·m. Depth is 78 mm, width 45 mm, height 87 mm — compact enough for dense panels. Side spacing to grounded parts is 6 mm minimum.
