Product details

The Siemens 3RU7116-1JB0 is a SIRIUS Size S00 thermal overload relay rated for a 10 A operational current, designed to protect three-phase AC/DC motor circuits up to 690 V at 50/60 Hz. The relay mounts directly to a S00 contactor (contactor mounting, per the spec), saving DIN rail space and keeping the power loop short. Terminal wiring accepts 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) solid or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) stranded, torqued to 0.8–1.2 N·m on both main and auxiliary screw terminals.

This relay snaps onto a S00 contactor (company-specific combination, Size S00). No DIN rail foot is needed — the contactor carries it. The mounting position allows ±135° rotation from vertical and ±45° tilt front-to-back, which gives flexibility in tight enclosures or angled subpanels. IP20 on the front and at the terminals means finger-safe but not washdown-rated — keep it inside an enclosure rated for the environment. Installation altitude max is 2000 m above sea level.
