What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RV1011-0CA10 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor protection, with Trip Class 10 and phase failure detection built in. It provides coordinated protection against overload, short circuit, and phase loss for three-phase motors up to 690 V rated voltage. Rated breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 400 V AC, meaning it can safely interrupt severe faults without upstream fuses in most industrial panel designs.
Panel fit and mounting
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in any position. The 45 mm width and 75 mm depth keep it compact for crowded enclosures. Clearance: 20 mm above and below, 9 mm to the side, zero forward or backward — no extra breathing space needed. Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded wire. M3 terminal screws for the main contacts.
