Trip class and thermal-magnetic curve
Trip Class 10 means the breaker trips within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — standard for standard-capability motor starting where the inrush clears before the curve catches it. The thermal element protects against sustained overload; the magnetic element handles short-circuit.
Screw terminals accept 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) — fine for motor branch circuits up to the rated current. Clearance: 20 mm upwards and downwards, 9 mm at the side, 0 mm forwards and backwards. No additional clearance required at 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, or 690 V.
