The Siemens 3RV1011-0EA15-ZI45 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker in the S00 frame size, designed to protect three-phase motors against overload and short-circuit. The adjustable overload release is set at 0.28...0.4 A, and the magnetic short-circuit trip responds at 5.2 A. It carries a CLASS 10 trip class, meaning it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the current setting — standard for protecting standard induction motors during a locked-rotor event. At 400 V it handles a 0.1 kW motor load. The unit includes a factory-fitted transverse auxiliary switch with one normally-open and one normally-closed contact, saving a separate accessory order for status feedback or signaling.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in any orientation. The S00 footprint is 45 mm wide, with 20 mm clearance required above and below, 9 mm at the sides, and zero clearance forward or backward (-). Screw-type terminals for the main circuit accept up to 2.5 mm² stranded. The front is IP20 finger-safe per IEC 60529.
