SCCR and Backup Fuse Requirements
At 400 V and 500 V the breaker is rated 100 kA without requiring a backup fuse — that's the full rated short-circuit capacity. At 690 V it still delivers 100 kA, but the manufacturer calls for a gL/gG 6 A backup fuse in series. This is a coordination detail a panel designer needs on the single-line diagram: the same breaker, same SCCR, but the fuse requirement changes with line voltage.
Clearance requirements: 20 mm upward and downward, 9 mm to the side, 0 mm forward and backward. No extra spacing needed above or below for arc chute venting in a typical IP20 enclosure, but keep the 20 mm vertical gap for wiring access and heat dissipation. Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) — M3 terminal screws.
