What it is — and what the ratings mean for your panel
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1011-0HA10-0FJ0-ZX95 is a motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor loads up to 0.18 kW at 400 V. The 0.8 A continuous rated current sets the maximum steady-state load it can carry through the main contacts without tripping — size it so the motor's full-load amps sit below this figure. The CLASS 10 trip characteristic means it will interrupt on overload within 10 seconds at 7.2× rated current, which is the standard protection curve for standard induction motors starting against light loads (pumps, fans, compressors). That 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC means it can safely clear a short-circuit fault up to 100,000 A without welding contacts or rupturing — critical for high-fault-current panels downstream of a large transformer. Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022 via screw and snap-on — the same footprint as the standard SIRIUS 3RV1 family, so it drops into existing panels without drilling. The IP20 finger-safe front cover and 45 mm width (3 modules wide) fit standard enclosure cutouts.
Integration details — terminal capacity and clearances
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²), or AWG 18 to 14. No auxiliary contacts are fitted (0 for auxiliary contacts), but the unit supports a side-mounted auxiliary switch block if needed. Zero clearance required at the rear (0 mm backwards) and at the sides (0 mm at the side) — it can be butted directly against adjacent devices on the rail. Operating temperature range -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport range -50 to +80 °C.
