Motor protection breaker for small loads
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1011-0HA10-ZI45 is a motor protection circuit breaker in size S00, designed for protecting small induction motors and downstream wiring against overload and short-circuit faults. Rated operating current is 0.8 A at AC-3 duty (400 V), delivering 180 W of motor power at that voltage — sized for fractional-horsepower loads like small pumps, fans, and conveyors. The thermal overload release is field-adjustable from 0.55 A to 0.8 A, letting you dial in the exact FLA of the connected motor without swapping the breaker body.
Trip class and short-circuit protection
CLASS 10 trip class means the overload element trips within 10 seconds at 7.2× the current setting — fast enough to protect standard induction motors against locked-rotor heating without nuisance tripping on normal starting inrush. The magnetic short-circuit release is fixed at 10 A, providing instantaneous interruption for hard faults while letting the overload element handle sustained overcurrents.
Mounting and clearances
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto a 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715 — standard panel integration for a size S00 device. Any mounting position is permitted. Clearance requirements: 20 mm upwards and downwards, 9 mm to the side, zero forwards and backwards. The 20 mm vertical gap is the minimum free air space needed above and below the breaker for arc quenching and heat dissipation.
