SIRIUS 3RV1011-1CA20 — motor-protection breaker, 2.5 A, CLASS 10
The Siemens 3RV1011-1CA20 is a SIRIUS motor-protection circuit breaker rated for 2.5 A continuous current with a CLASS 10 trip characteristic, sized for a 0.75 kW motor at 400 V AC. It breaks up to 100 kA at 400 V AC, dropping to 10 kA at 500 V and 2 kA at 690 V — so it handles high-fault utility feeds downstream of a transformer but needs coordination check above 500 V. Phase-failure detection is built in; ground-fault detection is not. Spring-loaded terminals on both main and auxiliary circuits accept 2x (0.25 … 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (0.25 … 1.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrule — no screw torque to verify, just strip and push.
Panel fit and mounting
Snaps onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 50022, 45 mm wide, 90 mm tall, 81 mm deep. Zero clearance needed at the back or sides — you can butt it against adjacent devices without derating the thermal capacity. Mounting position is any orientation. The IP20 front protection means it's safe for finger contact inside an enclosed panel but not for washdown or outdoor exposure.
