The 3RV1011-1CA20-ZW98 offers a rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 100 kA at 240 V and 400 V AC. This drops to 10 kA at 500 V and 2 kA at 690 V. At 400 V — the most common industrial distribution voltage — it can safely interrupt a 100 kA prospective fault current, which covers virtually all standard panelboard installations without needing upstream current-limiting fuses.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022. The 45 mm width takes up a single modular slot. Spring-loaded terminals for the main circuit accept 2x (0.25... 2.5 mm²) solid or 2x (0.25... 1.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrule. Any mounting position is permitted.
