What this breaker does on the line
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1011-1EA20-ZW98 is a 3-pole motor protection circuit breaker rated for 4 A continuous current and a 1.5 kW motor at 400 V AC. No ground-fault detection here, so plan for a separate GF relay if the circuit requires it.
Mounting and wiring — what fits
The 45 mm width and 90 mm height are standard for this SIRIUS frame size; depth is 81 mm — check that against your enclosure depth, especially if a door-mounted operator or auxiliary block goes on the front. Zero clearance needed at the back or sides, so you can pack breakers tight on the rail. Any mounting position works. Main circuit terminals are spring-loaded, accepting solid or stranded copper: 2x (0.25…2.5 mm²) solid, or 2x (0.25…1.5 mm²) finely stranded with ferrule. AWG equivalent is 24–14. No screw torque to set — strip 8–10 mm, push in. The auxiliary switch is present but no auxiliary contacts are built into the base unit; if you need a signal contact, order a separate auxiliary switch block.
Breaking capacity — where it holds
Rated short-circuit breaking capacity drops with voltage: 100 kA at 240 V and 400 V AC, then 3 kA at 500 V, and 2 kA at 690 V. In a 480 V panel you get the full 100 kA; at 600 V you're down to 3 kA.
