The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1011-1HA10-ZI45 is a motor protection circuit breaker in size S00, designed to protect three-phase induction motors against overload and short-circuit conditions. Its CLASS 10 trip class means the bimetal overload release will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — the standard for standard-duty motor starting where the acceleration time stays under 10 seconds. The adjustable overload release spans 5.5 to 8 A, and the fixed magnetic short-circuit trip responds at 104 A.
Mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm standard mounting rail per DIN EN 60715, in any orientation. The S00 footprint (45 mm wide) shares the same rail spacing as the SIRIUS contactor range, so the breaker and contactor can be ganged side-by-side without extra bus bars. Screw-type terminals on top and bottom accept up to 2.5 mm² stranded or solid conductors.
Rated operational current is 8 A at 400 V AC, corresponding to a motor rating of 3 000 W at 400 V. Power dissipation in hot operating state is 9.25 W total (3.1 W per pole). The breaker includes phase-failure detection and provides short-circuit protection without requiring separate fuses for most installations within its breaking capacity.
