The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1011-1JA10-ZW97 is a motor protection circuit breaker with Trip Class 10, sized for a 45 mm wide DIN-rail footprint (75 mm deep, 90 mm tall). It mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm rail per DIN EN 60715, in any orientation. Breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 240 V, 13 kA at 400 V, 3 kA at 500 V, and 2 kA at 690 V — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream. The gL/gG fuse backup ratings (80 A at 240 V, 63 A at 400 V, 50 A at 500/690 V) define the maximum upstream fuse for coordination. Phase failure detection is built in, so a lost phase on a three-phase motor trips the breaker rather than letting the motor single-phase and burn. Ground fault detection is not included — that's handled separately downstream.
Integration & Mounting
Screw-type terminals on the main current circuit accept 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²) solid or stranded copper. Main contact screws are M3. Clearance: 20 mm above and below, 9 mm to the side, zero forward or backward — tight panel layouts work if you respect those breathing zones. Operating temperature range is -20 to +60 °C; storage and transport tolerate -50 to +80 °C. The 20–690 V rated voltage covers most global low-voltage motor circuits.
