Motor Circuit Breaker, Size S00, 12.5 A
The Siemens 3RV1011-1KA15-ZI45 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker in the S00 frame, rated for 12.5 A operational current with an adjustable thermal overload release spanning 9 to 12.5 A. Trip Class CLASS 10 means it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the set current — fast enough to protect standard induction motors during a stall or locked-rotor condition without nuisance tripping on normal starting inrush. Mounts via screw and snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, in any position. The front is IP20 finger-safe per IEC 60529, so it's suitable for open panel mounting where accidental contact is a concern. Screw-type terminals on top and bottom accept the main circuit wiring.
Clearance and Integration
Spacing requirements are tight: 20 mm upwards, 20 mm downwards, and 9 mm at the side. Zero clearance forwards and backwards means it can sit flush against a panel backplane or mounting plate — useful when packing breakers into a dense motor control center row.
