Motor protection circuit breaker, 1 A, CLASS 10, 100 kA
It carries a continuous rated current of 1 A and a CLASS 10 trip characteristic, meaning it will trip within 10 seconds at 7.2× the thermal setting — fast enough to protect a standard induction motor during a locked-rotor event without nuisance tripping on normal startup. The breaker is rated for a 0.25 kW motor at 400 V and offers a 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC, which safely interrupts fault currents up to that level without upstream fuses needing to clear first.
Screw-type terminals on both main and auxiliary/control circuits accept solid or stranded conductors: 2× (1 … 2.5 mm²) and 2× (2.5 … 6 mm²), or AWG 14–10 for main contacts. An auxiliary switch can be added. Mounting position is any.
