Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, 1.6 A, CLASS 10
Its 100 kA breaking capacity holds at 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC, so it can interrupt a bolted fault anywhere in that voltage range without needing an upstream fuse for current limitation — a real advantage when coordinating a motor branch circuit in a mixed-voltage panel. The 3RV1021-1AA10 includes phase failure detection, which prevents single-phasing damage on a three-phase motor — a common failure mode in field-aged contactors or loose supply connections.
Integration Notes
Screw-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary/control circuits accept solid or stranded conductors: 2× (1…2.5 mm²) and 2× (2.5…6 mm²), or AWG 14…10 for the main contacts. IP20 on the front means the breaker is finger-safe in a closed panel; no additional finger-duct cover is needed for the operator-facing side. Rated impulse withstand voltage is 6 kV, surge voltage resistance, which covers most industrial mains transient environments without external MOVs. Shock resistance is 25g / 11 ms, so it holds calibration on a machine tool or conveyor section subject to vibration.
