What the ratings mean for fit
The 3RV1021-1GA10-ZX95: 6.3 A continuous current with CLASS 10 trip means the breaker protects motors that draw up to that full-load current and trips within 10 seconds at 7.2× rated current — matching standard IEC starting profiles for pumps, fans, and compressors. The 100 kA SCCR at 400 V is the maximum fault current the device can safely interrupt without upstream backup; at 690 V the rating drops to 6 kA, so verify available fault current if wiring into a 690 V system. Rated power at 400 V is 2.2 kW for a standard 4-pole motor, which gives a quick motor-sizing reference for panel builders. Phase failure detection is built in, so the breaker will trip on single-phasing — no separate phase monitor needed.
Mounting and integration
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 50022, either snapped on or screwed. Width is 45 mm, height 97 mm, depth 96 mm — standard SIRIUS 3RV1 footprint. Mounting position any; no derating needed for sideways or inverted install. Screw terminals for main and auxiliary circuits accept 2× (1…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2× (2.5…6 mm²) — covers common motor feeder wire sizes. IP20 on the front; suitable for enclosed panels.
