The Siemens 3RV1021-1JA10-ZW97 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor protection, rated at 10 A continuous current and 4 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty. Breaking capacity is 100 kA at 240 V and 400 V AC, dropping to 42 kA at 500 V and 6 kA at 690 V. If one phase drops out, the breaker trips — preventing single-phasing damage to the motor. Ground fault detection is not included, so for applications requiring GF protection, an external module or separate GF relay is needed.
