Rated for 7.5 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty, it handles the starting inrush of a standard 3-phase induction motor of that size.
The interrupting rating scales with system voltage: 100 kA at 240 V AC, 50 kA at 400 V AC, 10 kA at 500 V AC, and 4 kA at 690 V AC. At the common 400 V distribution level, 50 kA SCCR provides ample headroom for most industrial panel designs — the breaker clears a bolted fault before upstream devices need to coordinate. At 690 V the 4 kA rating still covers low-fault-current installations but requires a selectivity study if the available fault current exceeds that.
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x 1–2.5 mm² or 2x 2.5–6 mm² per pole. Front face carries IP20 finger-safe protection.
Ground fault detection is not provided — this unit covers overload and phase loss only. Electrical endurance is rated at 100,000 operating cycles typical for the main contacts.
