Rated for 690 V AC (AC-3 switching), it delivers 50 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC and 100 kA at 240 V AC — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream breakers.
Main circuit terminals accept 2x (0.75…16 mm²) solid or 2x (0.75…25 mm²) stranded, plus a single 35 mm² stranded — sized for the 20 A feed without needing a ferrule adapter. Zero mm clearance required backwards or at the sides, so it packs tight against other DIN-mounted gear; IP20 finger-safe front protection means it can sit near the panel door without a separate cover.
RoHS compliance date is July 1, 2006 — the part meets the original EU RoHS directive; REACH and other regional documentation is available with the order.
Thermal and mechanical limits
Power dissipation runs 14.5 W total in hot operating state (4.8 W per pole) — factor that into enclosure heat rise if the breaker is enclosed with other gear. Rated for 25g / 11 ms shock and any mounting position, so it handles the vibration on a conveyor drive panel or a machine-mounted sub-panel. Maximum switching frequency is 15 operations per hour at AC-3 — adequate for manual start-stop cycles, not for high-duty jogging applications.
