The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1031-4GA10-0FJ0-ZX95 is a motor-protection circuit breaker rated for 45 A continuous current, sized for a 22 kW motor at 400 V AC-3 duty. CLASS 10 trip characteristic means it clears a locked-rotor condition within 10 seconds at 7.2× rated current — standard protection for standard induction motors driving pumps, fans, and conveyors. Phase failure detection is built in, so a single-phased motor trips before winding damage sets in. Breaking capacity runs 100 kA at 240 V AC, 50 kA at 400 V AC, 10 kA at 500 V AC, and 4 kA at 690 V AC. At 400 V — the most common industrial distribution voltage — 50 kA SCCR covers nearly any panel fed from a typical transformer, so you rarely need an upstream current-limiting fuse for coordination.
