The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1041-4HA10-ZW95 is a motor protection circuit breaker designed for motor loads up to 22 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty, with a continuous current rating of 50 A.
Breaking capacity — where it interrupts
This breaker clears faults at 100 kA at 240 V AC, 50 kA at 400 V AC, 12 kA at 500 V AC, and 6 kA at 690 V AC (–). That's the interrupting capacity at each voltage level — the higher the line voltage, the harder the arc is to extinguish, so the rating drops. For a 400 V panel, 50 kA SCCR covers most industrial service entrances; at 690 V the 6 kA figure still handles downstream faults in a motor control center.
Shock rated at 25g for 11 ms — survives shipping drops and machine vibration.
Main circuit terminals are screw-type with box terminals, accepting solid conductors 2x (2.5 to 16 mm²) and stranded 2x (10 to 50 mm²) or 1x (10 to 70 mm²). That's enough cross-section for 50 A feeds with some headroom. Finely stranded with core end processing goes up to 2x (2.5 to 35 mm²) or 2.5 to 50 mm². AWG equivalents: 2x (10 to 1 AWG) solid, 1x (10 to 2 AWG) stranded.
