Rated voltage goes to 690 V AC (AC-3), with breaking capacity derating to 6 kA at that voltage.
Trip class and protection features
Trip Class 20 means the bimetal overload element allows a 7.2× cold-start current for up to 20 seconds before tripping — standard for general-purpose induction motors driving pumps, fans, and compressors. Ground fault detection is not included — if that is required, an external ground-fault module or a different SIRIUS variant is needed.
Mounting position is any. Zero clearance required at the sides and rear — adjacent devices can be butted directly, saving rail space in a dense panel. The 70 mm width and 165 mm height fit a standard motor starter footprint; depth is 174 mm, which matters when the gland plate depth is tight. Screw-type box terminals on the main circuit accept solid 2x (2.5…16 mm²) or stranded 2x (10…50 mm²) / 1x (10…70 mm²). Auxiliary and control circuit terminals are also screw-type. An auxiliary switch can be added.
Shock resistance rated at 25g / 11 ms. Substance prohibition date of 07/01/2006 aligns with RoHS compliance (lead, mercury, cadmium, etc. restricted).
