Motor protection MCCB with adjustable trip class
It carries a continuous current rating of 250 A and switches 90 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty, with a breaking capacity of 120 kA at 400 V AC — enough to handle high-fault utility feeds without cascading upstream. The trip class is field-adjustable between Class 10, 20, and 30, letting you match the thermal curve to the motor's starting profile. A high-inertia load that needs a longer start gets Class 30; a standard pump or fan runs Class 10. Both the overload release and the short-circuit trip are electronic, so the trip curve stays repeatable across temperature — no bimetal drift. Ground fault detection is not included, so if that's required, a separate ground-fault module or relay needs to be added downstream.
Mounts via screw fixing in any position. The front face carries IP20 touch protection, so it's safe for finger access inside a closed panel. Dimensions are 105 mm wide, 205 mm tall, and 103.5 mm deep — the depth is the key constraint when fitting into a shallow enclosure or over a gland plate. Both main and auxiliary/control circuits terminate at screw-type terminals. The breaker accepts an auxiliary switch add-on (not included), but ships with zero built-in auxiliary contacts — 0 NO, 0 NC, 0 CO. If you need status feedback to a PLC, order the auxiliary switch block separately.
