What this 0.25 A breaker does in your panel
Mounting and wiring — DIN-rail fit
Screw-type terminals on both main and auxiliary/control circuits accept solid or stranded conductors: 2x (1 to 2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5 to 6 mm²). Zero mm clearance needed backwards or at the sides — you can butt it against adjacent devices without derating spacing.
The 0.25 A continuous current rating is the thermal setting — this breaker trips on overload at that threshold, so it protects a motor drawing roughly 0.06 kW at 400 V (the rated motor power at that voltage). The 100 kA breaking capacity holds across 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC, giving you full SCCR headroom even on higher-voltage industrial supplies. Operating frequency is limited to 15 switching cycles per hour at AC-3 duty, which is typical for motor-starting applications — not for rapid cycling.
