SIRIUS 3RV1321-1JC10 — Motor Circuit Breaker for Starter Combinations
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1321-1JC10 is a 3-pole circuit breaker designed specifically for starter combinations, rated 10 A continuous current and 4 kW at 400 V AC-3 duty. It provides motor and short-circuit protection in a single device, sized for a 45 mm wide DIN-rail footprint. Breaking capacity reaches 100 kA at 400 V AC, dropping to 42 kA at 500 V and 6 kA at 690 V — sufficient for high-fault panels where upstream coordination keeps let-through within the device's rating. The front face carries IP20 finger-safe touch protection.
The 6 kV rated surge voltage resistance (impulse withstand) matches standard industrial distribution panels and supports coordination with upstream surge arrestors.
RoHS compliance dated 01.05.2012. No ground-fault or phase-failure detection built in — those functions require an add-on module or a separate monitoring relay.

Screw terminals accept 2x (1…2.5 mm²) or 2x (2.5…6 mm²) solid or stranded wire, with ferruled fine-stranded also supported. AWG equivalents: 2x (14…10). The auxiliary switch option (product extension) allows adding a signal contact for remote status.
