The 45 mm width (3-module) footprint is standard for this class — fits a typical 8-module enclosure with room for a contactor and auxiliary alongside. The IP20 finger-safe front means the busbars and terminals are touch-protected from the front, but the interior still needs enclosure protection against dust and moisture.
Terminal and wiring
Each pole accepts 2x (1–2.5 mm²) solid or stranded, or 2x (2.5–6 mm²) — the dual-entry lets you loop-through without a separate terminal block. AWG equivalent is 2x (14–10). No backwards clearance needed, and 0 mm side clearance means you can butt adjacent devices. The 0.2–2.5 mm² range covers standard control wiring; the 2.5–6 mm² range handles the motor power tails.
Protection and environment
Shock resistance is 25g for 11 ms, which is typical for industrial panel mounting near rotating machinery. No ground fault or phase failure detection built in — this is a straight thermal-magnetic overload and short-circuit protector for three-phase motors.
Power dissipation and auxiliary options
That's moderate — expect some heat rise in a sealed enclosure, but nothing that forces derating in a standard ventilated panel at 40 °C ambient. The breaker accepts an auxiliary switch (product extension auxiliary switch = Yes), so you can add a signal contact for remote status indication or PLC feedback. Maximum switching frequency at AC-3 is 15 operations per hour — fine for pump or fan cycling, not for high-speed jogging.
