What this breaker does in the panel
Rated 20 A continuous and 7.5 kW motor power at 400 V, it handles the common 4-pole induction motor range up to that output. The 3-pole design suits three-phase motor loads. Screw-type terminals for main and control circuits accept solid 2x (0.75…16 mm²) or stranded up to 2x (0.75…25 mm²) and even 1x 35 mm². That's enough for the load wiring on a 20 A motor branch. Finger-safe touch protection means no shock hazard during inspection with the panel open.
Sourcing and lifecycle — a current-production spare
RoHS compliance date is July 1, 2006, which covers the EU directive. The design carries IP20 front protection — finger-safe but not washdown-rated, so keep it inside the enclosure. Shock rated at 25g / 11 ms, fine for most industrial floor environments.
The 3RV6021-4DA10 is a functionally similar SIRIUS circuit breaker but from a different series — typically the 3RV6 is a compact, higher-breaking variant for specific applications. The 3RV1331-4BC10 is the standard-duty choice for starter combinations at 20 A. If a panel was specified around the 3RV6021-4DA10, the 3RV1331-4BC10 will not drop in without checking the mounting footprint and terminal layout — the DIN rail clip is the same, but the depth (149 mm,) and width (55 mm,) may differ slightly. Best to verify the physical fit before swapping.
