Transformer-protection circuit breaker, 0.5 A, Class 10
This means it handles inrush currents typical of transformers — up to 10× rated current for 10 seconds — without nuisance tripping, while still providing short-circuit and overload protection for the secondary side.
Breaking capacity and voltage rating
Rated breaking capacity is 100 kA across the full AC voltage range: 240 V, 400 V, 500 V, and 690 V. This gives the breaker ample headroom for industrial distribution panels where fault currents can be high, and it coordinates well with upstream fuses or MCCB feeders.
Width is 45 mm, height 97 mm, depth 96 mm. Zero clearance required at the back and sides, so it packs tightly on the rail — useful when filling a panel with multiple motor starters or transformer feeders. IP20 front protection keeps fingers away from live terminals.
Termination and auxiliary switch
Main circuit terminals are screw-type, accepting solid conductors 2x (0.5–1.5 mm²) and 2x (0.75–2.5 mm²), or stranded 2x (1–2.5 mm²) and 2x (2.5–6 mm²). AWG equivalents for main contacts are 2x (14–10). Auxiliary and control circuits also use screw terminals. The breaker accepts a transverse auxiliary switch (product extension auxiliary switch = Yes), allowing remote status indication or interlocking.
