Rated 5 A continuous with a Class 10 trip characteristic, it gives you a 10-second maximum trip time at 7.2× rated current, which is the standard for protecting motor and transformer circuits where the start-up transient is brief. The 100 kA breaking capacity holds at 240 V, 400 V, and 500 V AC, dropping to 6 kA at 690 V AC — that SCCR headroom means it can sit upstream of smaller branch protectors without needing a current-limiting fuse ahead of it, as long as the available fault current stays under those numbers.
At 45 mm wide, it takes up a single modular slot, so it fits standard distribution boards and motor control centers without crowding. The IP20 front means it's finger-safe for touch protection, but it's intended for inside an enclosure, not washdown areas.
Terminal and wiring
Screw-type terminals on both the main and auxiliary circuits accept solid or stranded copper: 2× (1 … 2.5 mm²) and 2× (2.5 … 6 mm²), or 2× (14 … 10 AWG). That dual-range clamping lets you daisy-chain a feed-through conductor alongside the outgoing wire without needing a separate terminal block — a time-saver on the panel wireman's bench. The auxiliary switch option (product extension available) means you can wire a remote status signal back to a PLC input without an interposing relay.
