Rated 6.3 A continuous with Trip Class 10, it provides motor-overload-style protection but tuned for the magnetizing current of a transformer primary. Phase-failure detection is built in — if one leg drops, the breaker opens, preventing single-phasing on the secondary side.

Breaking capacity and selectivity headroom

This breaker delivers 100 kA at 400 V AC and the same at 240 V and 500 V, dropping to 6 kA at 690 V. The 690 V rating is lower but still covers most transformer secondaries in 400 V systems.
