SIRIUS 3RV1431-4FA10 — Transformer-Protection Circuit Breaker
Rated 690 V max, with breaking capacities of 100 kA at 240 V AC, 50 kA at 400 V, 10 kA at 500 V, and 4 kA at 690 V.
Dimensions are 55 mm wide × 140 mm high × 149 mm deep — a standard SIRIUS footprint that leaves zero clearance needed at the sides or rear for heat dissipation. Wiring terminals on the main circuit are screw-type box terminals accepting 2× (0.75…16 mm²) solid or 2× (0.75…25 mm²) stranded, with a single 35 mm² stranded conductor also allowed. The auxiliary/control circuit uses separate screw terminals. This breaker is designed to be ganged directly alongside other SIRIUS components on the same DIN rail, with no spacing required.
The 6,000 V surge voltage resistance (impulse withstand) means it coordinates with standard downstream contactors and overloads in a Type 1 or Type 2 coordination scheme. Operating frequency is limited to 15 operations per hour at AC-3 duty — fine for transformer primary switching, not for frequent motor starting. Shock resistance is 25g for 11 ms.
