SIRIUS shunt release for motor circuit breaker frames S00–S3
The Siemens SIRIUS 3RV1902-1DP0 is a shunt release designed for remote tripping of SIRIUS motor circuit breakers in frames S00, S0, S2, and S3. It accepts a control supply of 210-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, or 190-330 V DC for a 5-second ON period, and 190-330 V AC for a 5-second ON period. The 100% ON period is rated 190-330 V DC. Snap-on mounting onto a 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715 is standard, with an 18.5 mm width that occupies a single modular slot. The front is IP20 finger-safe per IEC 60529, with touch protection for vertical contact from the front.
Integration and fit considerations
The 18.5 mm width and snap-on DIN rail mounting mean it slots into the same panel footprint as any standard SIRIUS accessory. Rated insulation voltage is 690 V AC with degree of pollution 3, so it's suitable for industrial control panels where the main breaker sees up to that voltage. The 68 mm depth leaves clearance for wiring behind the DIN rail.
