Shunt release for SIRIUS 3RV motor circuit breakers
The Siemens 3RV1902-1DS0 is a shunt release — a remote-trip accessory that drops the motor circuit breaker when you apply 500 V AC control voltage. It's sized for the SIRIUS 3RV frame sizes S00, S0, S2, and S3, so one part covers a range of breaker footprints in the panel. Rated 500 V AC at both 50 Hz and 60 Hz with 100% switch-on duration, meaning it can be left energized continuously without derating. The control supply is AC only — no DC variant here. Snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per EN 60715. At 18.5 mm wide, it tucks into a single module slot alongside the breaker. The front carries IP20 finger-safe touch protection per IEC 60529, so it's safe for open-panel work with vertical access.
Integration notes
The shunt release mounts directly onto the left side of the 3RV circuit breaker. No auxiliary contacts are included on this variant — zero NO, NC, or changeover contacts (instantaneous or leading). If you need auxiliary signaling from the shunt, you'll add a separate auxiliary switch block. Ambient operating range is -20 to +60 °C; storage range -50 to +80 °C. Pollution degree 3 (conductive pollution or dry non-conductive that becomes conductive) is the insulation rating, so it's suited for industrial control panels without sealed enclosures. Depth is 68 mm, height 90 mm, width 18.5 mm. The 18.5 mm width matches the standard DIN rail pitch.
