The Siemens 3RV2011-0BA10 is a SIRUS motor protection circuit breaker in the size S00 frame, designed for motor protection with Trip Class 10 and phase failure detection. It delivers 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V AC, sized for direct motor starting duty up to 15 operations per hour at AC-3 maximum. Screw and snap-on mounting onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Current lifecycle stage — no obsolescence notice on record.
Compared to the sibling 3RV2011-0BA20, the -0BA10 shares the same size S00 frame, same DIN rail footprint, and same 100 kA breaking capacity at 400 V. The deciding difference is the trip class: the -0BA10 is Class 10, while the -0BA20 is Class 20. For motor protection, Class 10 trips faster on overload — within 10 seconds at 7.2× rated current — which matters for high-inertia loads or motors with short thermal time constants. Both parts mount identically and accept the same screw-type terminals (M3 main contacts, 2x 0.75–2.5 mm² solid/stranded).
Mounts on 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, screw and snap-on. Any mounting position. Clearance: 50 mm upward and downward, 30 mm at the side, zero forward or backward. Screw-type terminals for the main circuit (M3), accepts 2x 0.75–2.5 mm² or 2x 4 mm² solid/stranded. Screwdriver shaft diameter 5–6 mm, Pozidriv size 2 tip. Operating temperature -20 to +60 °C; storage/transport -50 to +80 °C.
