What it is and what it does
The Siemens 3RV2011-0DA40 is a SIRIUS motor protection circuit breaker, size S00, Trip Class 10. Rated breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 400 V AC, so it safely interrupts high fault currents on a 400 V line without upstream fuses in most panels. Phase failure detection is built in — if one phase drops out, the breaker trips to prevent single-phasing motor damage.
Mounting and integration
Mounts via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715. Size S00 footprint: 45 mm wide, 97 mm deep, 97 mm tall. Any mounting position allowed. Clearance: 50 mm above and below, 30 mm at the sides, zero forward or backward — tight panel layouts work. Main circuit connection uses ring cable lugs (M3 screws). Control wiring via M3 terminals as well. Screwdriver tip: size 2 or Pozidriv 2, shaft diameter 5–6 mm.
