It combines a circuit breaker and overload relay in one device, providing short-circuit and overload protection for motors up to 0.1 kW at 230 V. Built-in phase failure detection protects the motor from single-phasing, which is a common cause of winding burnout on three-phase lines. No ground fault detection — that's handled separately if required.
Width is 45 mm — a standard 2-module footprint that fits most panel layouts. Terminal screws for main contacts are M3, accepting 2x (0.5 to 1.5 mm²) or 2x (0.75 to 2.5 mm²) solid or stranded copper. Clearance distances: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm at the sides, 0 mm forwards and backwards — the forward/backward zero means it can be stacked flush against the panel door or backplane, saving space.
