Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, Size S00

The breaker is sized S00, the smallest frame in the SIRIUS 3RV2 family, which keeps the panel footprint tight — 45 mm wide, 97 mm deep, 106 mm tall. Rated breaking capacity hits 100 kA at 400 V AC (also at 240 V, 500 V, and 690 V AC), so it handles high available fault currents common in industrial distribution without needing an upstream current-limiting fuse for most installations. Ground fault detection is not integrated, so if you need that, you add a separate ground-fault relay or use a different SIRIUS variant.

Any mounting position is allowed, which helps when the panel layout is tight and you need to orient the breaker sideways. Minimum clearance to adjacent metal parts: 50 mm upwards and downwards, 30 mm at the sides, 0 mm forwards and backwards — so you can stack it flush against the backplane or a neighboring device. The screwdriver shaft diameter is 3 mm, tip size 3.0 x 0.5 mm — a standard Pozidriv or slotted bit works. No special crimp tool needed for the spring cage; just strip 8–10 mm and push in.
