Motor-protective circuit breaker for the panel builder
The Siemens 3RV2011-0FA20-ZW96 is a SIRIUS motor-protective circuit breaker in the size S00 frame, designed for motor protection duty. It carries Trip Class 10 and an interrupting rating of 100 kA at 400 V AC. Mounting is via screw or snap-on onto 35 mm DIN rail per DIN EN 60715, and the mounting position is any — upright, sideways, or upside-down in a tight enclosure. The spring-loaded terminals on the main circuit accept 2× (0.5 to 4 mm²) solid or stranded, which covers most motor feeder sizes up to about 4 kW at 400 V. Phase failure detection is built in, so it will drop the load if one phase is lost — a common failure mode that single-phase-protection-only breakers miss.
