Motor-protection circuit breaker for DIN-rail panels
The Siemens 3RV2011-0KA15 is a SIRIUS motor-protection circuit breaker designed for motor loads up to 0.2 kW at 230 V, with a Trip Class 10 thermal overload curve that matches standard induction-motor starting profiles — it holds during a normal start and trips on a stalled rotor within 10 seconds at 7.2× Ie. Rated breaking capacity of 100 kA at 400 V, 480 V, 500 V, and 690 V means it can interrupt a bolted fault at the motor terminals without upstream fuses — useful for high-SCCR panel designs where the motor branch needs to coordinate with a 100 kA-rated feeder.
Screw-type terminals on the main circuit accept 2×(0.5…1.5 mm²) or 2×(0.75…2.5 mm²) solid or stranded — no ferrule needed for the smaller range, but a ferrule helps with the 2.5 mm² stranded pair.
