At 690 V the breaking capacity drops to 4 kA, which still covers most 690 V motor branch circuits in industrial plants.
Any mounting position works, so you can lay it sideways in a shallow enclosure if needed. That 45 mm width (3 modules wide) fits standard 45 mm DIN-rail spacing. Main circuit connections are spring-loaded terminals — no screwdriver torque check needed. The 97 mm depth means it won't hit the backplane in a 120 mm deep enclosure.
Sizing and application
Rated insulation voltage covers 20 to 690 V, so it's good for 400 V and 480 V systems as well as 600 V class. Motor horsepower equivalents at common voltages: 0.5 hp at 230 V, 1.5 hp at 220/230 V, 3 hp at 460/480 V, 5 hp at 575/600 V. The AC-3 switching frequency is 15 operations per hour — fine for a pump or fan cycling, not for a high-speed indexing application. Backup fuse ratings are specified if you need to coordinate with upstream fuses: 50 A gL/gG at 400 V, 40 A at 500 V, 35 A at 690 V.
